What a pity, Sibrand
... but at least: there are more displeasing ways to die, than after a spawning
I hope the fry will appear soon and grow up to a new breeding generation

I shot a video yesterday, a bit in a dark corner of the tank.
So not much color and not so sharp...

Last weekend our spilopterus and nasuta's were sold.
We added more rocks to the tank.
We also added 5 Tropheus moorii Lufubu F1 (youngsters) and 3 Petrochromis famula red fin.
We wait for 5 more Tropheus moorii Lufubu F0.
Here a new picture of our tank.
Hi Sibrand
Your tank rocks better and better
A breathtaking landscape
Thanks a lot, Steffi!
Really great...
This is a dream !!!
Nice to look at.
Thanks a lot for the nice compliments!
An update of the tank
After a long time of waiting .....
What a Tank
Whatts the Name of the new Kids.
Hi Sibrand
Are these fishes the Tropheus moorii Lufubu you waited for? Only 3 additional animals?
... but finally I‘m not a Tropheus expert
Anyway, we‘re looking forward to seeing new pics or video from your tank
We had some problems here, that looked serious ...
From day 1 all the 5 Tropheus Lufubu F0's were chased in the right hand front corner above the multifasciatus, by 2 of the smaller F1"s.
From day 3 it got better and they came out of the front corner a bit more and they also started to eat. They are not used to eat spirulina yet. They try it and spit it out, but they eat some of the shrimp/algae-mix I feed them in the evening.
The fins are a bit damaged now, but that will heal in time.
I think the 2 F1's accepted the 5 F0's after some days. The don't hide that much now
In Holland some peoples keep Tropheus in smaller groups., like our group. Probably we have 3/7 now.
When keeping Tropheus in smaller groups, their behaviour will change. They become quieter. I like that much better.
Red Fin ?
Red Fin ?
That's the name of it. More yellow, if you ask me!
Looks awesome. How many you got of them?

I wanted 1/2, but by accident I got 2/1
Till now everything is fine. The female knows where she can hide for the males.
