For filtration we use an airliftsystem.
The background is selfmade.
Since a few weeks the fishes are in the new tank.
We used most of the glas of our old tank. Only the front and the left side glass are new (optic white).
Hi Sibrand
Despite of downsizing, it is still a huge tank
And again you created a naturally looking Tanganjika biotope
Which species are swimming in this tank, besides the tretocephalus?
And what about your new neighbours? A promissing new beginning?
@ Steffi: No problems with our neighbours now.
Living in a small village is much better for us than in a city
We kept 11 Tropheus moorii "Lufubu" F0 & F1 , a large group of Eretmodus cyanostictus (forgot to count), 2/0 Petrochromis famula "Kigoma" (red fin) F1, 1/1 Mastacembelus ellipsifer F1, 1/2 Lamprologus callipterus.
We added 4 Petrochromis orthognathus "Ikola" F1 (probably 1/3). And the 4 Neolamprologus tretocephalus as you mentioned before.
Maybe the treto's and the callipterus will leave our tank in time. I like to keep just Tropheini and the 2 eels.
Later this year I will probably add 1/1 Petrochromis trewavasae.
Here is the first movie of our new tank.
Ich kann nur sagen
Glück Auf aus Bochum Jens.
I really like the petrochromis orthognathus .
sehr schön!
Hi Sibrand
Unfortunately your links don‘t work
Same here
I don't understand ...
When I used photobucket or picasa web I had no problems.
It seems I can't put photo's at this board. Other boards no problem.
We moved to a small village some month ago. So our IP-address has changed.
I wonder if that might be the problem now.
Is this any better?
Great pics
The pictures are awesome.
Thank you.
Top ??
sehr schön
